Tim lives and works in Longmont. His "day job" is as a decorative
painter, and he also creates beautiful earrings, bracelets, and bowls using
dichroic and colored glass.
He enjoys making the items in his home studio. Glass requires 1500 degrees
F of firepower, so things can really heat up!
"A lot of the time, you dont know what you'll get till you open
up the kiln." says Tim.
"That's the fun part! Its like Christmas and opening presents.
Its my stress relief because I just like doing it."
Tim has been doing his work in fused and slumped glass for about three
years, and particularly enjoys when the creative parts "just happen
before my eyes". Tim sells his creations exclusively through Bead
Lounge and will be at our Artisan Expo December 1-2, so be sure to come
