Jan Bonestroo works with copper to create unique clips,
jewelry components, wearable artforms and decorative accents.
She first became inspired to make her copper jewelry on a trip to South
America.
Her trademark "Copper Clips" can be used to adorn everything
from hats to shoes and in between.
Copper is a warm, wearable metal that goes
with almost every complexion and complements many different styles of clothing.
Trained as a Biology major in college, her style suggests a very organic
feeling with the exuberant shapes and warm color that the copper brings
to her work.
She uses the copper components to create jewelry that ranges from the
very simple to the ornate.
Copper is extremely popular in this current fashion cycle, but Jan's
work has timeless beauty and will be wearable in any season or year.

Jan works as one of the knowledgeable
staff at Bead Lounge and sells her wearable artwork through the gallery
there as well as at gift shows in her home state Colorado.
She also instructs others on how to use copper to make fabulous Wintertime Ornaments for your holiday decorating
and gift-giving.
