Her fused glass work blends her trademark sense of color and style with the sparkle and glitz she liberally bestows on everything--from her home to the art she creates out of glass and fibers.

She takes opaque and translucent sheets of glass, frits, dichroic films and papers and transforms them into gorgeous bowls and jewelry pieces.

Light catches and plays tricks with dichroic decorations and the luminous glow of glass reflects her love of bright colors and graphic forms. Seen here are pieces from her Winter Season line of trees and wreaths.

Margie creates bowls and plates, window hangings and wearable art taking each hand cut piece of glass and placing it to form the patterns she wants, sometimes cutting and fusing several times to create patterns and motion in each piece.

Her studio is an oasis of sunlight even in the winter months, with her kiln keeping things toasty as she works. Cats and dogs are not allowed to follow her there, but they provide plenty of inspiration and companionship in every other room--Margie's other love is for animals, and she participates in the Longmont Humane Society Foster Program, helping to get kittens and puppies ready for a loving home environment.
